HO’OULU AT HO’OPILI | Plantation Style Homes
Hoopili Hooulu took a bold step in the way of affordability when they first released sales in 2019. These 2- and 3- bedroom single family Ho’opili homes were initially offered at extremely competitive prices which which made them the hottest ticket for new home sales in Ewa & Kapolei.
Expect Floor plans between 868 - 1,144sqft and although this is smaller than some of the Kohina townhome offerings in the Hoopili development, Ho’oulu will feature larger yard spaces and NO maintenance fees. We’ll also see this phase offer smart home features like SkyBell video doorbells, Amazon Echo, and an app to control the front door.
The developer’s tag line for the Hooulu phase reads “So New, Yet So Familiar” which pulls inspiration from vintage Ewa Beach Plantation home styling, much like the Ewa Villages neighborhood that once provided housing for the workers at the Ewa Sugar Plantation. These Hoopili homes will be the least expensive single family home option in the master plan and this is reflected in the “Post & Pier” foundations & one car carports that substitute for the slab on grade foundations and two-car garages offered in the premier single family home phase of Aulu Hoopili. The front porches and stylings are reminiscent of vintage Hawaiian plantation home charm and while these are smaller homes, the developer says they’ll be positioned to “allow for future expansion.”

Affordability
Single family homes in Kapolei and Ewa Beach at this price point are typically plagued by $400-500 maintenance fees and to our shock and disbelief, this isn’t the case here! Although, a $65/mo association fee is assessed to all Hoopili homeowners to cover common area maintenance, pools, landscaping, etc. This Hoopili development has already proven to be extremely popular for those wishing to move up from condos and townhomes into for entry level single family homes, while escaping the maintenance fees that are common in this price point.

With Hooulu being the most reasonably priced phase single family Hoopili home option, you will find that these homes are smaller, with less upgrades, and feature Carports instead of garages.
